This device is recharged by USB and creates a weld on to put multiple batteries together by welding strips of thin nickel metal (included) to the battery + pos or - neg. It comes with a Chinese manual which can be run through a document translator but the instructions for use are imprinted in English on the back of the device. This is not a toy it is like a mini welder and it does work but the item I was going to use it for I did not end up keeping. Useful for making Lithium Battery packs for DIY
