Grenfell of Labrador by James Johnston. Published around 1900 by S W Partridge & Co, London (no date). About life on the Labrador Peninsula and Dr. Grenfell or Wilifred Thomason Grenfell. The cover is blue with a landscape illustration. The upper right cover corner is crushed. The cover warps upward slightly. The backstrip cloth is faded to a medium green with floral decoration. There are rubbed areas on the backstrip title block. There is a prize sticker on the right endpaper dated 1912. There is heavy foxing on the front and back of the right endpaper. There is heavy tanning throughout the book with moderate foxing. The book has several black and white illustrations and photographs. The title page dock flattens out, but there is a crease. Size: 7.5 x 5.25", 192 pages + advertising.
