Rare Vintage 1997 Sanrio Badtz Maru Suitcase. Measures about 14" wide by about 9" tall by about 6" deep. The black suitcase has a black zipper, handle, and trim. On the front is a large graphic of the Sanrio penguin, Bad Badtz-Maru, a male penguin with spiky hair, created by Hisato Inoue in 1993. He is the main protagonist in the Badtz-Maru universe. Unlike Hello Kitty, he has an attitude and is one of the few characters marketed to all genders. "Badtz Maru" is printed underneath the character in large letters and also features a printed 1997 Sanrio trademark. Besides some normal wear for being nearly 30 years old, the suitcase has no significant rips, tears, or damage. A must for any Batdz Maru, Hello Kitty, or Sanrio fan!
