Over the years this is one of the most high tech coats I’ve had. Everything zips on or off. You have side vents. The hood can be removed with a zip and it has extra clips to simplify storing the hood if you remove it on the slopes. Huge pockets. One is missing a pull string. Everything is very functional. It is apparently waterproof but I think back in the day this meant very water resistant. The coat is warm but it’s not crazy warm/heavy. You can absolutely wear to ski or in the snow. I’d think it’s better for spring ski versus coldest part of year ski as top of mountain can be rough. Bundle for savings.
