(#Electrolux20) Vintage Electrolux Salesman's Sample Vacuum Cleaner Quarter Bank
Wonderful old promotional bank for the Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner. When the front door is closed, this bank is locked. There is a tube inside that holds the quarters after they're deposited through the coin slot on the bottom. When enough quarters are put in, the front will pop open, allowing you to retrieve your change. Tested, and after Approx $13.25 in quarters has been inserted, the door popped open. This one is very Rare. I believe it is partially due to it being easily broken if not used carefully. It does appear to have been repaired with glue on the inside clasp (shown in picture) but that doesn't effect the bank working as it should. I tested 3 times and it opened great. Handle with care! A nice RARE addition to your collection! I have several more of these Electrolux Quarter banks listed on my page.
