New Bev Galeskas Fiber Trends CH18E Garden Party Baby Hat Knitting Pattern
This hat is meant to coordinate with the Spring Flowers Jumper, and does a lovely job of it. It's very pretty and very easy, but the construction is interesting-- you start the brim with horizontal rows of garter stitch (with lacy bits and short rows), then pick up stitches from that and finish the crown in the round. Galeskas is thoroughness personified, and gives you all the crown decreases round by round so there's no confusion whatever. Size can be further refined by tightening the tie at the base of the crown. Knitted flower instructions are as complete as the rest of the pattern.
