Original vintage 1944 20th Century Fox film noir mystery thriller movie poster half sheet (22”x28”) for “Laura”. The influential film classic was produced & directed by Otto Preminger & starred Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb, Vincent Price & Judith Anderson. The plot involves a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous & mysterious high-society woman. A psychologically complex portrait of obsession, Laura is also a deliciously well-crafted murder mystery.
Rare vintage 1944 movie poster half sheet (22”x28”) for film noir classic “Laura” was in fine to very fine condition prior to paperbacking. The poster had minor tears & paper loss in borders primarily, pinholes, smudges & scuffs. After being paperbacked & restored for preservation purposes, the stylish & atmospheric poster displays quite well — although you can see some of the defects described previously as well as the restoration. The moody, ethereal image of Ms. Tierney on the poster does a great job of capturing
