This is a classic cotton chijimi (crepe) pattern from Nihonbashi Chikusen. It was brought to Takashimaya and tailored about three years ago.
Since it was made from deadstock fabric, the yukitake (sleeve length) is 67cm, and it has a bat-wing collar.
Of course, it can be worn with a han-eri (collar).

The texture feels rougher than current products.
It is recommended for those who like the feel of the shibo (crepe texture). It's cool in the summer and holds air at a comfortable temperature in the spring and autumn.
This is a masterpiece unique to old Chikusen, dyed beautifully down to the smallest details.
